read more › Fort Locks is a family-owned 225 unit storage facility located in Channahon, Illinois. The facility has 160 outdoor fenced parking spots for boats, campers and other vehicles. The buildings were erected in 2003 and opened for business in January of 2004. The same staff has been running the company since the grand opening. All of the buildings are steel frames with insulated roofs and concrete floors. The indoor storage units are surrounded by pavement with a minimum of 30 feet between buildings and are protected from flooding by storm drains and raised concrete flooring.
