In 1977 Clint and Susan Hunter planned and developed the storage facility on Giuntoli Lane in Arcata, California. It was expanded several times over the years and currently has over six hundred units. In 2005 the Hunters purchased Arcata Mini Storage on M Street in Arcata. This facility currently has four hundred and fourty three units and is in the planning stage of expansion in the next few years.
In 2006 the Hunters broke ground on their Murray Road Property opening their first location in Mckinleyville
